KCC Dinner & Inaugural Awards

Friday night saw the 4th annual Christmas dinner for the club, and it didn’t disappoint with a record number of 63 attendees.

During the evening we held a ballot with prizes kindly donated by – CRC (Neil McG), Powerhouse (Garth), North Down Physio (Julia) and off course the committee.  We were able to raise £315 for the Ards food bank – so a BIG thank you to all those who bought a ticket and the club sponsors/supporters.

After desserts it was time for the fun and more serious prizes. Scott & Lyn stepped up to award the various members with the prizes and awards. There were plenty of laughs and banter throughout as some of the awards were just for a bit of craic. Then it was time for the main awards for those in the club that were deserving winners and for those that were voted by the members.

Best new comer – Kyla Knox,
Best female – Jill McClements,
Best male – Andrew Evans,
Best competition – Paul Crossen,
Club member of the year (as voted by the members) – Jane McCabe.

Finally the committee and members would like to say a BIG thank you to Ronan Sweeny and the staff at Balloo house for their kind service and welcoming venue, were the food didn’t disappoint.

KCC will be having their annual Christmas Fry Run on the 19/12/15 to The Cuan, leaving hall at 09.00 in various groups meeting at the venue around 11.00.
